Nope! If you are looking to start working with a dietitian, or aren’t sure about what you want to do, get in touch with us and we will help you make an appointment. At your first appointment, your clinician can help you understand the process and what the next best steps are. Your dietitian can even help you identify what might need some work, in line with your goals. Sometimes your clinician might recommend getting a referral from your GP so that you can receive Medicare rebates on your sessions, but this will all be discussed with you in session.

Of course! It is very normal to feel unsure about starting treatment. Our clinicians help to create a safe space for you to explore your goals and what feels important to you. We can also explore what is making you feel unsure, or challenges you might be facing. If you are feeling unsure, we can also support you to understand what kind of supports are available and help you access it when you feel ready.

Your first session will be mostly your dietitian getting to know you. Your dietitian will ask you some questions about your goals, what is important to you, and your history. Your clinician will note down things that they feel might be helpful for you and give you an overview of what treatment might look like, and answer any questions you may have. If you have a referral or recent blood tests, please bring these with you to your first appointment.
